New Environmental Policies: Formamide-Free & Low-VOC EVA Insoles Become Export Standards

From 2025 to 2026, stringent environmental regulations drive EVA insole industry upgrades. New standards require formamide content below 10 ppm and restrict harmful VOCs. EU REACH and US CPC mandate eco-friendly certifications, leading to 550 non-compliant manufacturers exiting the market. Recycled EVA (rEVA) now accounts for 16.8% of applications, and bio-based EVA production expands. Our EVA insoles adopt supercritical technology to meet formamide-free and low-VOC export standards.

New Environmental Policies: Formamide-Free & Low-VOC EVA Insoles Become Export Standards
Stringent environmental regulations at home and abroad from 2025 to 2026 have driven the green upgrade of the EVA insole industry. Updated standards for VOCs emission from footwear materials and industrial foams stipulate that the formamide content of EVA products must stay below 10 ppm, while restricting harmful volatile substances.
Overseas requirements including EU REACH and US CPC mandate SVHC screening and eco-friendly certifications for export goods. Over the past five years, around 550 non-compliant small and medium manufacturers have exited the market, raising industry concentration. Currently, recycled EVA (rEVA) accounts for 16.8% of applications, and production capacity of bio-based EVA keeps expanding.
All our EVA insoles adopt supercritical physical foaming technology with no chemical residues, complying with OEKO-TEX and EU environmental standards for large-scale export.
