In 2026, the large-scale application of supercritical fluid foaming (SCF) has become a core technological trend and standard process for top manufacturers. This technology uses carbon dioxide and nitrogen as foaming agents to replace traditional AC chemical foaming agents, creating uniform micro-scale cells.
The new process cuts EVA density to 0.12–0.15 g/cm³, a 40% reduction compared with traditional products. Its rebound rate reaches 65%–75%, far higher than the 45%–55% of conventional EVA. Footwear technologies such as ANTA’s Nitro and Li-Ning’s Boom are developed based on modified EVA, driving product upgrading. Multi-layer lamination and gradient density structures are now widely adopted.
We have achieved mass production of supercritical foamed EVA insoles. Customization on rebound, hardness and surface materials is available to support brand product iteration.
